In 1936 Edith Fetherston, one of the first woman graduates of Bucknell University, and her husband, John, purchased what is now known as the Packwood House Museum. They filled it with art and antiques from PA and across the world.

River Towns Race Series
The River Towns Race Series is a group of 18 races that take place in the Susquehanna River Valley and beyond. The races combine running, biking, river paddling, and so much more!
The races vary in difficulty, ranging from relatively flat 5K races to 75 mile races with rough and steep terrain. The series is designed for both the beginning racer and the serious competitor. "Get out of your comfort zone!" with this fun and challenging race series.
Valleys of the Susquehanna: Race Better
The Valleys of the Susquehanna, which includes the Susquehanna River Valley plus Columbia and Montour Counties, is home to various Central PA marathons and triathlons. The region hosts a series of competitive events appealing to a variety of ages and levels of experience. The Valleys is sponsoring a Race Team in 2010!
